Gotta grab the TestFlight app first then you can grab the link to download it. Here is a post listing the current apps being worked on:

I wanted to like Joplin but I really wasn’t a fan of the iOS app. Check out Logseq, it’s just about to hit v1.0 and it’s already pretty great experience. I left obsidian for it.

There is a lot to be said for the current UX on the mobile environment when compared to what most of the Reddit refugees are used to. The web app, for me, is a miserable experience and I find the iOS apps are more user friendly even in their infancy. That said, due to how new they are, the apps are still missing key features - they great for browsing but I don’t see that either are able to make new posts as of yet. That means either making due with the web app for all usage or bouncing between the apps and the web. It’s definitely going to hamper people from posting OC, especially because a good portion are likely heavy mobile users.

To clarify, I am not ragging on the devs for the web app or mobile apps, this is a young project by comparison to what most of us are used to and I appreciate all the hard work they are doing. Yes, many former lurkers like myself need to step up the OC game, but the community as a whole needs to be patient and understanding as well. No community will die so long as there is an interest in the subject matter.

Anyways, that’s just my two cents as a former heavy lurking redditfugee.

One of the things that I’m enjoying the most about Reddit shitting the bed is discovering new communities. I subscribed out of sheer curiosity. I still consider myself a Christian but i don’t really know where I fall anymore, something akin to being on the precipice of deconstructing but too scared to actually take the next steps. It would likely make for an interesting chat with a therapist 😅

Anyways, just wanted to pop in and interact because I’m trying to be less of a lurker than I was on Reddit.

“Oh no! Everyone is angry at me/us. Quick! Act like a victim, make the users were screwing over the bad guys!” u/spez probably

It’s definitely a strange feeling, I’m not sure that heartbreak is the right term for me. It’s more uncomfortable - I don’t mind the change but the ease of access to all the content I wanted in one place was just so fucking convenient! I know this community will grow with time, and I don’t hate that I’m more comfortable interacting here, but I look forward to the day where I can go back to my room scrolling lurk like the good ole days lol.

I’m new here too, to the fediverse as a whole really. I was mostly a lurker on Reddit but the smaller community here makes me less anxious to interact with different posts. I’m excited to see the community grow.

Spez was likely pissy that Christian called him on his bullshit and had all the receipts to prove it.
