I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've had some gnarly dents on literally all of my macbooks. Sometimes on the bottom, sometimes on an edge, sometimes by a port... It's gonna happen eventually if you use it like a laptop.

I was just saying the other day that I really want to get rid of my Echo (Alexa is annoying AF) and wanted Apple to release a decent and affordable Homepod. I guess that's not the direction they're going in though 😭😭😭
