Last: Pièrre Hadot, "Filosofie als een manier van leven" , the Dutch translation of "Qu'est-ce que la Philosophie Antique?" , or "What is Ancient Philosophy?"

Current: Caroline Criado Pérez, "Invisible Women"

I would definitely recommend Hadot for a clear overview and an interesting read on filosophical history. Invisible women is kind of a must-read to learn about the data gap in statistics of women.

I have high hopes for Mistral. They've been working very hard on becoming an open, honest and secure player in the AI game. Being from France and thus having to adhere to the GDPR and EU AI Act. The transparency is also very welcome. They did sign the letter to postpone the EU AI Act by years, which was questionable.

Stepping out and showing the numbers, which are pretty damn hefty, is a ballsy move. Let's hope they also focus on reusing the huge amount of water that gets pulled for cooling, though.

I'm not a fan of AI for its impact on the planet, but numbers like this hopefully makes people aware and consienceous about it. It will probably be here to stay for a good while, so AI companies being honest and working towards a more efficient and greener system will be a welcome treat.

I tried it, joined a couple rooms. Wanted to leave those public rooms but I kept getting notifications of rooms I already left.

Very wonky experience, so I dropped it and I use deltaChat now for my Tech-aware contacts

Pff hater, Arch users are definitely not cultists who are obligatory to share their divine wisdom and forcibly announce that they are part of this cul... Hobby.

I use arch btw

Het Daniel! I'll save this, and I'll try to record something this afternoon (GMT+2)!

3's my least favorite numbered entry in the series, but the post-game of re:mind is pretty damn good.

I didn't like how empty the world's felt. Even though there's barely any npc's in 1, it felt the most alive. 2 was just corridors, but my god the combat feels good. 3 is an attempt to make the world's bigger, ending up empty, and the combat is meh for the most part.

Nearly everything

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some insights of my fellow riders. I'm starting to carry more tactile stuff with me, pens, paper, a calendar, a small driver kit, some small tools, etc. For this I want to start carrying a bag. I like the flexibility of a sling/messenger bag, but I'm looking for experiences with them on a bike.

  • Are they comfortable for commute driving (<45 minutes)?
  • How is quick access?
  • Do you use it outside of riding as well? I'd like it to be somewhat nice looking so I could carry it while walking / at music festivals for instance.
  • Any extra information or recommendations are definitely welcome!

I'd love to hear your insights!
