How would you like to go to the school councelor?

I assume it is because they have lightning immunity, and the character that he described is using primarily lightning

Now I feel like me and my friends are playing dnd wrong. Ending encounters in 3 turns is very rare for us. Usually they last like ~6 turns. Sometimes more, but 3 and less is extremely rare for us.

You sure shield master doesnt work on fireball? The AC bonus to DEX save doesnt apply, but taking no damage on a succesful save should still apply, no?

DMs, would you consider adding rogues/assasins as enemies against spellcaster who spam fireball? Or like a group of dwarfs with shield master? On one hand, it will encourage more variety in a future, on the other the spellcaster would feel bad that he cant do much in such a fight and would probably get killed quickly.

It doesnt feel right “punishing” a spellcaster who uses fireball as a solution to all his problems like that, right?

Edit: and make them tieflings as well…oh god…poor fireballers

I am sorry, but I dont understand where is the misinformation? The article doesnt state nor imply that JP has said that poor children deserve to die. It stated, that that particular comment was used in a complaint against him in court. So if you are upset at the people who formed the complaint then thats fair. But why be mad at the article? They only stated what has happened, unless I misunderstood?

I mean, in the other comment he then went even further beyond and actually did started to defend JP. So, you know, I guess he was right in calling him out in the end :p

Thats actually opposite for me. I remember being more conservative in my 20. I remember watching people like Amazing atheist, armored sceptic, shoe on head and some others that I dont remember. Now in my 30, I have actually softened up a lot and got more liberal views now.

Dont they need to be hovering mid air for either to happen? I am trying to imagine how would a moving portal teleport a person laying down without teleporting the ground beneath him. I think neither a or b would happen, I think they would be draggen on the ground and splattered, but if I HAVE to choose, I say A is more likely. Because they are laying and not hovering I dont think they will be launched.

Have you watched any of the Hassans takes on Ukraine? I only watched clips, which I assume are out of context. In those he was advocating for Ukraine surrender and to stop sending aid. Is that true? Sorry for asking you about it, I just cant stand listening to the guy, so I hope someone who does can offer some insight.
