I can't seem to get a picture without dogs today. It's another Persephone from Made for Mermaids. This time, I added an inch in length to both the skirt and ruffle. This one might be too long. in c/sewing@lemmy.world

first muslin of McCalls 7652. Because it's vintage, I am starting out with a pattern that is 2 sizes too small. It came out a bit small but the FBA and petite adjustments seem to be ok. I do in c/sewing@lemmy.world

@clay_pidgin No, this is a lighter one. I don't think it would be appropriate for jeans, but it's heavier than chambray.

@Mouselemming thank you! It was a 2 yard remnant from my stash. It was a choice between pockets or ruffle and the ruffle won. I call it a win because I can't believe I made it with only 2 yards.
