Exactly. Right now I am staying on Lemmy, but I said the same thing a year or two ago about Reddit. If something fucks up I'm happy to pack up shop and move.
I use F-Droid anyway, and imo everyone should, so I think its fine
Someone else said they used the post filter to remove it on the iOS app mlem.
Just copy and paste the title into the filter section of the settings of whatever app you are using and it should stop popping up.

They wouldn't make money off of iMessage being on androids, which they've shown with other things to be the only thing they really care aboyt.
