This is why we can't have nice things.

Click bait headline, bronze doesn't rust. Yes it is unusually well preserved but it would be more interesting if it had rusted, since that would mean a iron age weapon was found in a bronze age site.
Hats off to the bull!
It's not just that it was useless to some people, it was a genuine security risk. OpenBSD's port of Firefox has it disabled by default, and LibreWolf strips it out of the browser entirely.
Or just buy it direct from GOG. It's so cheap it's almost free, it supports a really great European company, and leaves Amazon out of the picture entirely.
I feel old. Linux didn't exist when I was 10 years old, Linus was still in high school at that point. My home computer was a TRS-80 CoCo 2.
My daily use USB drive is a Transcend 256GB ESD310, it supports 10Gbps speeds and has been rock solid for me. Technically it's an SSD and not just a "flash drive". I use it both for portable storage and as a boot disk via Ventoy. It has USB-A on one side and USB-C on the other, both are 10Gbps.
Unihertz specializes in small phones. They aren't flagship spec but they are midrange at sensible prices. They also have keyboard phones and even a phone with a built in DMR radio for Amateur and GMRS use.
Not a plug, I don't even own one I just love that they are daring to be different.
In the 90s show "Twin Peaks" the intro showed a sign saying "population 52,201", but in the show itself everyone in town knew each other and the town itself was the size of a small village, with one diner, a few cops, and no infrastructure apart from the logging industry. It would have been more realistic to have the sign say the population was in the hundreds or maybe 1000 at most.
Source: I grew up in a small town with a population of about 1100 people and it was several times larger than Twin Peaks in area, and even with that small number of people it was rare to bump into more than a couple of acquaintances in a week's time.
There’s a company called Unihertz that sells a line of keyboard Android phones similar to the last batch of Blackberry models. I know it’s not slider phones but they are inexpensive.
There is also Planet Computers which makes sliding Qwerty phones but they are expensive.
The park itself is actually really nice they just need to remove the awful mural. I don't care if they leave it blank or replace it with a carving honoring Native Americans but it needs to go.
