You’re right, I’m bringing reddit into the picture where it was not even mentioned, I apologize. I meant to clarify that they’re usually referred to as “communities” and not “subLemmy” but did so in an unnecessarily snarky way.
They’re called “communities” on Lemmy, no need to bring reddit-speak with us over here
A great realization that I had was that many of my language pet peeves were really preferences and not hard and fast rules. Language constantly evolves, regardless of how any one person feels. Clinging to my pet peeves was really just a form of elitism.
I think you’re mixing the story up a bit- the guy that got into the phone didn’t have a YouTube channel, he sold it to someone with a YouTube channel. Still stupid in any case!
Was? Like… past tense?
Maybe it’s just my client (Voyager on iOS) but your spoiler doesn’t work when I view this post
Besides the fact many of them are Linux based…
In not sure if you’ll find AI Comics specifically, that’s probably too narrow of a scope, but I bet there are some more generalized AI content focused places that would welcome it.
It seems like you've given up before you started. You could draw it yourself and get told it's garbage, but at least you could do so with some pride. Maybe you'd even get some constructive feedback. Where's the pride in this slop?
I don't think you're going to get any traction with AI generated comics here - you're probably better off posting this type of content in AI focused communities.
I enjoy watching and chatting in smaller streams sometimes (like, a couple hundred in the chat at the MOST, usually < 100), it’s still parasocial, but tends to be WAY more chill. If it’s a stream with thousands of people, I don’t see the point in chatting, it’s passive entertainment at that point for me, personally!
