I don't think it matters who the QB is, this team is not remotely set up to take a generational QB talent and turn him into...anything at the moment.

I never wanted Williams; but like, have you not realized that irrationally overreacting to every minute detail is this fanbase's MO?
There are plenty, but recently, the big names for me are:
- Drew Brees
- Kirk Cousins
- Alex Smith
Don't forget Kirk Cousins.
Dude was a 4th rounder meant to back up fellow rookie RG3.
RG3 isn't even in the league and Kirk Cousins is considered a top tier QB, if not S tier this season (before the injury) then at least A tier.

I mean, if that's what you want, the move is to draft MHJ.
He is, at any position, the most "can't miss" guy in this draft class.
I would MUCH rather pass on Maye and Williams, even if both go on to be good players, in order to keep building the team to the point that we're just a QB away from winning.
We are WAY more than a single QB away from winning. Winning more games? Sure, a QB away. Winning a Super Bowl? We're a lot more than just a QB away.
