That's fair enough, I haven't read the Foundation books but after cancelling Netflix after they butchered The Witcher I totally get why you'd cancel Apple TV. Maybe I'll wait to read the books until the series is done lol.

This is a huge letdown, this was a really great series. I wonder if there's potential for anyone else to pick it up for season 4.
Knowing how big of a nerd Cavill is, I'm hopeful we'll get something interesting. There's so many potential stories that could be told, interested to see who the writers they're referencing are. That will potentially inform what we can expect.
I watched a few nights ago, and it was well shot, and I was interested and engaged to the end. Like others I think the end could have been resolved more, but I would still recommend it.
If it were a spiritual successor, focusing on monster of the week weirdness with great writing and minimal forced character drama? Sure I'll give it a go.
If it's just rolling out Mulder and Scully again to cash in on nostalgia? I won't waste my time.
And if Chris Carter is involved the season is basically dead on arrival so I'll be actively avoiding it.
While Foundation has its issues, it's definitely not terrible and if they listen to feedback there's still time to bring it all together.
Now as long as it doesn't end up like Invasion, I still haven't been able to finish that series, I'm not sure it really deserved a second season.
That's fair, I am doing my same in parts. The series could definitely benefit from less people and more kaiju.
I enjoyed it, definitely different than I expected. Brie Larson was pretty decent.
The people conflict definitely seems forced for effect, and consequently doesn't really hit the mark unfortunately. I agree with you on the grandmother, as she seems to be the closest to an actual person compared to the stereotypical military men she's surrounded by that could have been pulled from any other similar series.
Godzilla is a lot of fun the few times he's turned up so far, I'm hopeful that there will be more screentime for him as the series progresses, as the few short scenes we've gotten just make me really want another monster movie instead of the series we got.
Man after the ending of episode 2 I wasn't ready to deal with 6:30 dealing with his guilt.
Interested to see where that data comes from, as looking at the lifetime emissions of an EV vs an ICE vehicle inclusive of fuel EVs are generally significantly lower emissions. If you're only considering the emissions associated with the manufacture of the vehicles, EVs do result in more GHG, but very quickly once both vehicles are actually in use the benefits of EVs become apparent.
