Yeah it's like 'moderated_communities' or something. On most pages already. Just getting the extra view option to show up in the UI, and only when the current_user is a moderator of anything that will take some tweaking. Doable, though yes.

Fair. I've not modded Lemmy communities. Is it just basically a view filter like all/local/subscribed on the front page?

Nixahon on YouTube put it like something like "even if I'm not into it for the IP or adverse to mixing in non-magic IP, I'm still going to have fun with the mechanics". I've kind of used that as the touchstone for me to enjoy it.

Have not had a chance to play it yet (out of town), but that helped mollify some of my objections. Lots of the early access streams look like it will be a fun set mechanically so I'm looking forward to playing.

You can also make a private feed of just the communities you mod and see them all together that way. Not sure if that would do what you want, but it's a ln option for now

Yeah, I did that, plus the videos, plus just running a local test instance and tweaking things.

The app/activity pub code is probably the most complex to follow. Most of the rest is easier to get your head around.

There is a hide-read setting in the user settings. It's all or nothing though so not individual community settings.

You can see your read posts under user > read post in the drop down though.

I don't think we support mbin export/import ATM, but I've not tried

I added Lemmy export and import to piefed a while back.

I have a note to go work on the piefed export to Lemmy import on my List. It worked a while ago but seems unhappy at the moment. I'll add mbin export to the List as well.
