I was watching The Spiffing Brit’s exploit video of Spore. It definitely made me wish for a modern Spore game. To be clear, the visuals don’t need to be much better just better lighting and it’d look modern enough. If they overhauled the gameplay systems then it could be a 10/10 game.

I haven’t seen any PeerTube content shared on Lemmy. Can anyone tell me if it integrates into timelines etc well or have an example post?
I think getting video content onto Lemmy is a hurdle that needs to be overcome. Video streaming is a huge server load though and utilising PeerTubes P2P capabilities to distribute that load throughout the user base would be an excellent solution if it can all be integrated in a way that’s user friendly.
Bonus points for the roadworks being inactive with no hazards but still 40k/h in a 110 zone.
I hadn’t heard of Memories before. I’ve just set up an Immich server and I’m not super impressed with it, if I can shut that down and use my pre-existing Nextcloud server instead that’d be great!

It was at one stage.
There’s a flip side to this that I’ve found; until recently I have never had any desire to buy a Switch, ‘There’s Mario Kart and that’s all’ is what I thought. Then I obtained a few Switch games to play on an emulator and ooh boy is the temptation real now. I’ve been playing Zelda (the newest one and my first Zelda game), Luigi’s Mansion and of course Mario Kart. Piracy has me sweating every time I see a Switch on sale.
