It’s a bit strange because I charge it practically every night. I do have it limited to 80%, I don’t know if that would be the difference.

Totally agree. Some of the software gatekeeping from Apple frustrates the hell out of me because when you’re spending so much on a self professed premium device something as small as battery age shouldn’t be device specific.

…since the web apps are also based on Safari and WebKit, Apple may have opted to remove PWAs in the EU so that it wouldn’t be accused of further leveraging its own engine.

What I expect it to be. Basically, removing functionality to avoid possible legal conflict whilst simultaneously ‘proving a point’.
