Well, I'm not really looking for anything serious, and if I talk about Hexbear she will ask me to marry her on the spot, so no

Not where I am, in my experience! I'm in my mid-30s and I've only had a single date in which there was no drinking, and that one went nowhere. I got ghosted by that date shortly thereafter, in fact lol

It's more of a me problem, to be honest... I'm just not good at this kind of stuff generally, and doing it stone cold sober doesn't make it any better at all. Hope things go better for you!

these might be a good replacement, especially now that I have calories to spare from the alcohol I no longer drink

based nixologist

I haven't had a single drink since last September, I honestly thought it would be harder to socialize with friends but it really isn't... dates are pretty much done for, though

The big issue with the show's politics IMO is that they try to pass off clueless adventurists as principled revolutionaries, it's basically Zero Theory: The TV Show

I really liked it, it was one of my favorite shows for a very long time. Nowadays I think it's very lib, but it still has a special place in my heart and regardless of its politics, it's absolutely a joy to look at, probably one of the most unique looking shows ever.

It also tries some interesting things aesthetically, especially towards the end of the show. I don't know if you've finished it yet, so no spoilers, but there's an episode that goes full Birdman and is just like one continuous shot from beginning to end. Another one is structured like a stage play, another one is like a 90's sitcom, and then all of a sudden you're watching a Lynch-esque surrealistic nightmare episode. It's so unique, and that is a huge virtue when there's so much generic drivel out there.

Edit: also, in a world of shows where nothing ever drastically changes in the setting of the story, I remember how stunned I was when

spoiler5/9 actually happens lol

don't you dare waste all that potential kefir

come on folks, this is no laughing matter, please take it seriously

I once accidentally read a recipe for Turkish döner kebab and now I can't keep myself from snatching and hiding ice cream cones from people around me, it's really embarrassing
