I think the fact that it is not very grand is what makes it so pretty

we call it Margarida here, and it used to be a reasonably popular girl name a few generations ago

oh wow, I didn't know that! I never played 76

I guess now the only thing that's left is to release a good Fallout game set in Appalachia lol

no kidding, which one?

that's awesome, now I'm thinking Appalachia could be a great setting as well, with the climax being the second battle of Blair Mountain

We are helping Landlords like you thrive in this new Gig Economy.

No way this is real. Somebody from here has to have written this as a bit. It's another one of these things where it sounds like it's tailor-made to drive Hexbear users insane. The only thing that's missing here is an AI assistant inside the pod, watching you sleep.

I thought it was very fun, I'm about to start the third episode. It's no Shogun, but it's quite fun. As other people have said here, they nailed the look and feel of the setting, and my slop devouring brain loves that they sometimes use sound effects straight from the games. It really tickles all my nostalgia neurons, and I quite enjoy it. But I'm a fan of the franchise, so YMMV.

I think it's essentially the Twisted Metal show, but better. Not by much, but better. And just like TM has Sweet Tooth as an incredible breakout character, Fallout has The Ghoul, but I think that says more about Walton Goggins than the show itself!

Agreed, the gesturing towards privatizing our prisons is right now absolutely the most concerning thing that's being discussed. In a country with powerful criminal factions which have all but taken over the entire prison system, handing them over to companies with a profit motive cannot be even remotely a good idea (not that it would be anywhere else, for that matter).

There was also the Prop 22-inspired PL dos apps, a proposed law which would severely fuck over gig workers, particularly Uber and delivery drivers.

Also, one very petty (but is it, though?) problem I have with his administration is that I can no longer buy woodworking tools from Banggood or Aliexpress without paying a 92% import tax if they happen to cost more than $50. If it costs less than that, then you only pay 17%, but apparently that will become 25% very soon. Well, shit. Faz o L.

I find it hilarious the way people from the US have this thing where they become Ethnicity Sommeliers and go deeply into the most minute percentages of European blood that they have, and then start identifying themselves as being "half Italian, half Irish" but somehow still "3% Shoshone" when the truth is that they're just 100% cracker
