Yeah, it's so much more efficient and climate friendly to have people in offices managing data with paper instead of computers.

Funnily enough, it looks like most data centers are built near mini-mansion neighborhoods.

Kinda nice seeing the affluent class have to deal with infrastructure being built at their expense.

These people are genuinely too stupid to choose Mastodon.

I highly recommend starting or joining instances that support freedom of speech.

We can make sections of the fediverse that aren't just hug boxes for people with an agenda.

We're all fucked

Can anyone recommend some good RPG Maker games?

Not-buying things works.

Keep doing it.

How come all of nintendo's IPs were made decades ago? Why were they able to make several iconic worlds in a few years when there was also less money to be made?

It seems like the art is dead and it's just business now.

It's not more cost efficient when you include paying for games and 2nd internet.

At this stage of the game, it's pure ignorance.

I was looking up web developer portfolios on (( the other site )) and came across this one: https://m7mad.dev/

It has a target for the cursor instead of a mouse. While I think most modern web developers do a lot of unnecessary bullshit to "show off" and justify their existence, this particular design got me thinking.

Why do we have a "mouse" for a cursor? Does it really make more sense than have a target similar to the one on this site?

I think most of us don't even bother to question it, myself included, but it might just be one of those weird relics of the past that we accepted because we thought others knew more than us.
