I have one or two YIFY movies that I haven't been able to find on multiple private trackers (that usually cover all my needs) and the seed ratio is over 1,000 (since early 2021).

Public torrents of course get a lot of action (even relatively niche content).

Watched this in the cinema earlier today, as someone who used to watch F1 for over a decade (been meaning to get back into it for what seems like 5 years), I enjoyed it.

The plot is pretty predictable, but I thought the delivery was entertaining and generally respectful of the sport.

I think that would be a good move for the mods.

I am personally planning to move over to !horror@lemmy.ca.

What about !horror@lemmy.ca?

It seems to be pretty active.

I can create a piefed horror community, but to initiate the historical post transfer, the mods will have to be involved.

Might be better to move to an existing active community.

If rimu is fine with this approach I will create a piefed.social Horror Movies community.

Simcity 3000 and Simcity 4 soundtracks are incredible.

Simcity 2000 is not bad too, but it's clearly limited by the technology of the time.

The indie film market collapsed? Anyone have more analytical info on this (an in-depth article)?

[–] jbone@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 2 months ago

That's some intense bullshit business jargon cited in the article.

If you do run off an SD card, consider DietPi as your OS (it's Debian based), they implement methods to improve longevity of SD cards.

They also have a very nice set of custom CLI tools for easy system management.

Those are some solid numbers for Mission Impossible; I've stopped watching them after the third or the fourth one.

Same, not surprising in the least.
