Exactly, why not just get the album from another source?

I am going to check it out after I am done with the current series I am watching.

You can find most movies/TV shows on the following torrent trackers:

rutracker.org

mazepa.to

The first audio track is in russian or Ukrainian, but they always have English audio tracks as well (just set eng audio defaults in your player).

The selection is far wider than any streaming service and there is lots of rare stuff (classic movies, grindhouse, art house).

For rarer content you may have to download in advance. For mainstream stuff you can start streaming as soon you start the torrent (select "download first and last" and "download in order in your client).

It's an entertaining scifi-horror b-movie.

And Natasha Henstridge is great too. :)

An arguement can be made that Superman itself is not a great sign for the movies.

Not telling anyone what they should watch, but for me personally there is little difference between Minecraft, Lilo and Stitch and Superman.

Department Q does indeed sound interesting.

I saw them 20+ years ago (around the time the album was released) as a teen. :)

I feel like Schneider's character and the cheesy elements are part of the charm of Judge Dredd.

The remake is more consistent in its grim-dark theme.

What's the person in the bottom-middle (slightly to the right) doing? Afternoon workout?

Prometheus was mediocre. I thought the overall concept was cool and the cinematography was great, the screenplay was not good.

The Chaos fanedit of Prometheus actually works a lot better than the theatrical cut, I would check it out if you ever feel like re-watching Prometheus.

Yea, saw the Piefed instance thread, looking forward to the launch. I will be switching.

I hope the Lemmy devs end up in a russian internment camp; it's only fair for them to experience what they wish on other people.

Not quiet an encyclopedia, but as a child I really liked The Top 10 of Everything books.

This was late the late 90s, we had dial-up, but internet was still in its infancy.

I definitely had the 1999 and 1998 editions:

Microsoft Encarta was also mind-blowing for its time, especially if your were a child in the late 90s and early 2000s.
