I liked the first few Saw movies (the first in particular, as one would expect), but the later ones weren't that great. (starting from 4 I think). That being said, I haven't seen the last few Saw releases.

I can recommend As Above, So Below even if you aren't a big fan of found footage movies. It has cross-over appeal with fans of the broader horror movie genre.
What a coincidence! 😀
This really is a timeless track. Sounds fresh even 30 years later.
Beautiful track (if a bit poppy). Love the late 90s video.
Bomb retro track!
Cool track and cool video as well!
Planetes is really good. It does have comedic elements, but I wouldn't call it a comedy. More like a scifi workplace drama with socio-polticial themes.
Thank for sharing!
Imaginary maps looks cool!
I have not seen Nova Seed (adding to my tk watch list), but below are some animated movies that might pique your interest (similar visuals style and/or plot/setting that is not typical of anime):
- Tekkon Kinkreet
- Mind Game
- Metropolis
- Blame (movie)
I thought Miki 17 was solid, part of the story felt a bit all over the place, but IMO it's more tolerable for a satirical black comedy.
To be fair, I really like Sci-fi and Bong Joon Ho (discovered him via Memories of Murder way back when), so I am biased.
What's the eMule network like these days?
