It’s because the other cats might actually be a threat, whereas the furless elongated ones are just terribly incompetent.

It makes sense once you consider that these numbers are the manufacturers self reporting. That means they aren’t comparable, so drawing conclusions like ”manufacturer X has better batteries than manufacturer Y” from these numbers is silly.

https://www.infofinland.fi/en/moving-to-finland/non-eu-citizens/remigration-to-finland

”If you have Finnish ancestry or a close connection with Finland, you may be granted a residence permit in Finland on this basis. This means that you are considered a returnee (paluumuuttaja). Receiving a residence permit depends on the directness and closeness of your Finnish ancestry. No other reason, such as work or study, is required in order to receive the permit.”

Not an expert but I would imagine grandparents is considered pretty close and direct.

They really have you all wrapped around their fingers, don’t they? Your democracy is literally on fire around you and the best both ”sides” can do is bicker whose fault it is.

Not addressing the rest of the comment, but ”world leaders should discuss everything behind closed doors” is a dangerously shortsighted take. You do realize their job is to represent you, right? How do you think you can verify they are doing that if you are not allowed to see and hear what’s being said?

What makes you say Sony is the least bad? Don’t those things run a Google software stack?

Yeah, if OP thought the movie was heavy on the “good job being a teenager in the 80s!” content, they should steer well clear of the book.

Firstly, it’s 5 million tonnes per year. For 65 years. Secondly, the cost is for a 65 year SAI program, including developing the tech and running the missions. Thirdly, this is all explained in TFA or the links therein.

What is the point of this article? ”Cable advertised as containing a microchip and antenna revealed to contain microchip and antenna!”?

I had been neutral on this particular outlet, but on the search filter it goes.

Virtually everyone fails to grasp exactly how large of a number a billion is. It’s so, so much bigger than the ”very big number” people think of when they hear the word.

This is an ”article” about a Reddit post from 4 years ago posted on r/timetravelercaught where the comments point out the same thing. The crazy thing is that someone wrote an article about it.

It is, this infographic is wrong. Or I guess technically some other standard could define it like the infographic, but the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard defines it as a secondary hierarchy specifically for user data.
