The FTC’s three Democratic members were in favor of adopting the regulation, while its two Republican members were against it.

...

“The FTC estimated that the ban would boost wages by between $400 billion and $488 billion over 10 years.”

Employers are required to tell people that existing noncompetes are void:

The new rule makes it illegal for employers to include the agreements in employment contracts and requires companies with active noncompete agreements to inform workers that they are void. The agency received more than 26,000 comments about the rule after it was proposed some 16 months ago. The rule will take effect after 120 days, although business groups have promised to challenge it in court, which could delay implementation.

The /c/unions community kept getting non union general labor interest posts and shockingly there are not really many general labor focused communities on Lemmy. So I've made one here.

There's no logic in any of that. CSS and HTML component testing is just automating the designer/dev hand off. You can't make a functional app with it. And it's not appropiate as a content editor so doesn't even rise to the WYSIWYG abilities of something like Wordpress Gutenberg full-site editing or Squarespace.

Ui design tools are not used to build actual apps and anyone trying toake them do that is a fool. It's for designing apps.

Does it have component variants yet?

Not sure this is really union related.

Dev jobs are not hard to come by and they pay very well. It's not like being a day laborer or something where we are scraping the bottom of the barrel. Have a little courage.

A good dev would unionize their workplace and push back. A dev who doesn't care and just clocks on bad work because their boss sucks is not a good dev. Fight back.

You're worse off than the active pandemic?

Sample size doesn't mean that confounding variables were calculated though? It def means it could be possible though.

Does the study take into account confounding variables like poverty?
