As much as this is a play to show subservience to and enthusiasm for the orders of the imperial hegemon, I have to imagine shit like this is an actual logistics nightmare for the administrators of US empire to deal with. Like what’s the worth of three more planes versus the hassle of having to go through an entirely separate chain of command? Reminds me of Matt pulling those gulf war trading cards. “Oh Estonia was a part of the coalition forces and sent two dudes plus a mule”

Anytime this debate/conversation comes up it needs to be pre-empted by a debate/conversation about what “support” means. Is rooting for the home team support or just spectating? Does verbal support mean anything in political realms clearly not hooked up to the “democratic” apparatus (foreign policy here specifically)?

Macron continually trying to play the wildcard option from the rest of the EU while staying horrifically within the rails or modern neoliberalism. It’s like he’s auditioning France to retake the reins of European dominance since the UK played itself out and Germany is faltering. But Macron is no history on horseback and I don’t see a sixth French Republic taking off anytime soon

It sounds like it’s moving left, though it also sounds like this has only been possible due to a mass drop in membership following the failure of the Bernie campaigns. Marxist Unity Group seems like their worth checking out as an internal bloc to the DSA and where it could go
