Yeah, i haven't linked my steam account either, even though fanatical is a legit store and have i purchased game bundles from them before. I have no problems to un-subscribe to a newsletter, but i don't like linking my game accounts if not absolutely necessary. But for people who already linked their account with fanatical before, there is no reason not to grab their free games.

As i understand it, people are disappointed that they bought a strategy game and now the developers have supposedly removed most of the strategy so that the game is more like a visual novel. I haven't played it, so idk, but i haven't seen anyone complaining that the game itself is bad, apart from the fact that it's allegedly not a strategy game anymore.
It's funny cuz it's true.

You're right that this game isn't free for everybody, and i tried to point that out in the title.
Maybe a mod can clarify if amazon prime gaming is covered under the rule of "...any other type of FREE you can imagine" or if this kind of "semi-free" isn't allowed here.
