Would recommend F1TV as you're in the US. It's very reasonably priced, and has loads of extra functionality and a reasonable picture quality.

Can't imagine watching F1 on a dodgy stream at 25fps.

I'll be working on the sidebar next week. Very likely it'll have a set of links to sister communities and relevant websites.

UK. Love them. Nothing like having a good weekend ending with a live race on a Sunday evening.

Notice

We shall be banning discussion around F1 piracy in this community next week.

We will not take any actions until the rules are posted in their entirety in the sidebar.

F1 being behind a pay wall is a massive concern, I guess that's what DTS was made to try circumvent. That's a whole other thread though.

Grey code block

red code block

I didn't realise the different code block implementations would give different colours. Very useful!

Nice formatting, how did you get the red text!?

We had ads in the UK for a few years. I hated coming back to the race to Murry Walker announcing "drama in the German grand prix..." only to get a replay of a major incident. I feel for you buddy!

Heya,

For me there are a few reasons to go down this route:

  • Disallowing piracy enhances the legitimacy of this community. I'd like to establish relationships with F1, teams, and other persons involved in the sport. This would be much harder to do if the first thing they see here is a link to stream or download a race.

  • Piracy is harder to moderate. We're not going to be checking every link to ensure there are no viruses and that the content is what it claims to be. We don't want our users having issues from content they find here.

  • The majority of the community didn't want it here, for varying reasons.

  • You can 100% set up c/formula1withblackjackandhookers if you wanted (though I'd stick with the names of the respective subreddits to be easier found!) and have a place dedicated to F1 / motorsport piracy.

Same as T1 at Monaco I guess!

LJDawson of Sync for Reddit looks to be heading that way.

Alonso won't care if Stroll wins a single race in a season where the WDC isn't on. He'll be happy for him and the team.

If Stroll wins a race when the WDC is on, it means Alonso also has a race winning car and he'll be backing himself to be better over the season.

As for the question in the title, Hamilton, Alonso, Russel, Leclerc, in order of most likely descending.
