yup. i received my surprise collections notice a couple of days ago. it's a bit disappointing because only a couple months ago i got it all back on track with the SAVE repayment, but apparently Trump has canceled that as well.

no retirement for me i guess? ๐Ÿคท

i watch Real Time with Bill Maher regularly and watched his monologue about his meeting with Trump (it disgusted me). this essay is beautiful because it hits many of the same points Maher made and i just know that Bill must be embarrassed and livid.

Bill Maher owes us all (his viewers) an apology. but of course we will never get it.

you already made the decision, Neo. you're here to understand WHY you made that decision.

also, i recently discovered her TSHA - fabric presents continuous mix which takes me back to high school, listening to FM radio in the car on saturday night.

90's rave and acid scene vibes. ๐Ÿ‘

please disregard that this is a POP tune. the 808 cowbell gives me such a dance craze i feel silly.

this my #1 listen from 2024.

unpacking the grocery bags and there's just not... enough... room...

the cleaver was right on hand and i am ooOHHh sooooo satisfied.

i just took out a month's worth of 'bad day with donny' and my freezer has never been smoother.

i always love when a juicy groove forces me to turn the volume up a couple of clicks. (15:45) got me bouncing in the corner of the room so i can hear the bass resonate thru the walls.

uhh. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

this has a very crispy and disorienting stereo element with a funky little acid bassline.

i found it on CDM "best of" 2024.

i sent this text to my family group chat (which includes my father). my dad is a poverty MAGA with a wild fantasy about how to better enjoy his retirement.

.... is not worth arguing with these particular assholes on this particular website. but, geeez.

images taken with specialized photography of the first few micro-seconds of a nuclear blast.

i am too lazy and grumpy today to find more relevant info for you (sorry). but these are sitting on my drive and it feels like the right day to post them up.

have a great weekend everyone!

this is where my brand-new unwrapped xfinity modem will live, unused, forever.

i recently did some deep cleaning and found the (two years) old modem sitting in a closet. unused because i am perfectly satisfied logging into the xfinity hotspot broadcast from my neighbors and there is no co-ax outlet in my place.

i considered just tossing the thing into the trash, but decided to be a responsible consumer.

after returning the old device to the xfinity store and subsequently discovering that my hotspot access was turned off, i got to take repeat train ride into the city to pick up a new device. it turns out that even though my account is in good standing, a physical device is required to be attached to my account in order to maintain hotspot access.

should i have just tossed the old one? should i just toss this one?
