Server perfomance is also a big plus. Even on some of the other, smaller, more IT driven instances I experienced way more lag then here
The 2 day window might at least show that there's a definite interest to join a protest from a wide array of the community. I see it as a warning, meaning if the changes aren't being reversed, there's going to be a lot more communities going dark forever then there is now.

The Skyrim FPS lock to 60 fps was due to the physics engine not working beyond that. Knowing Bethesda, and knowing the fact that in the 30 or so rereleases of Skyrim they've never fixed that, I wouldn't be surprised if that's still there
