No! This is Patrick!

It very much depends on the dog. I've seen some nasty dogs in my time, where the dog wasn't cleaning itself and the owner never gave them a proper bath, and then there's dogs like mine, never smells of defecate or urine, gets cleaned professionally once a month and grooms himself thoroughly. His fur is soft and non greasy, he's properly de-shedded, and his coat type means mud turns to dust and simply shakes off.

Same goes for cats, I've seen dirty cats who spread shit everywhere with their dirty bums and I've seen hygienic cats that never skip a groom day.

I will admit that cats are lower maintenance. A dog is like a child you can't drop off at kindergarten, and they require hours of exercise and attention every day, but that's exactly what I signed up for: something to occupy my mind and keep me exercised. I can't cani-cross a cat, unfortunately!

That's "dtf" or "d2f"

IDF, more like "I don't fuck"

Yes, our dog sleeps on the sofa. We use a washable blanket.

I get that from every therapist and psychologist.

I've gotten so good at masking even they can't tell.

Ok, I didn't need you to act as a middle man to tell me what the LLM just hallucinated, I can do this myself.

The point is that raw AI output provides absolutely no value to a conversation, and is thus noisy and rude.

When we ask questions on a public forum, we're looking to talk to people about their own experience and research through the lens of their own being and expertise. We're all capable of prompting an AI agent. If we wanted AI answers, we'd prompt an AI agent.

IRC makes sense in a world where people register to bouncers, which allow people to connect to any IRC network they please.

Thanks, I accidentally switched the terms!

I'm sure H2 will eventually become viable, but right now it's very much being pushed in the hopes that blue and gray H2 can be sold to the masses by fossil fuel companies.

Yeah that would definitely rule it out. Your original theory may be correct, fishtank water contains more minerals and microorganisms.

I can find canadian-made pads, but not tampons, and much less canadian-owned tampon manufacturers.

Does anyone know of such a manufacturer that sells in Quebec? Ideally something high quality with a nice applicator.

Trying to connect to Lemmy.ca from Mexico, since about yesterday, I'm getting a connection refused. I have to VPN to Canada to use the site.

Is this normal behaviour?

That's all. I really love 1Password though, I don't think I've ever had any issues with them and their Linux support is excellent.

I learned that Tailscale is Canadian after learning that CloudFlare indiscriminately routes your server traffic through the US, including CloudFlare Tunnel traffic.

This happens constantly. I had tape on it for a while, but even that failed.

Picture above is dramatization without the tape for clarity's sake, today it poked through the tape and shut itself off, this is how I actually found it:

I accidentally spilled treats in my trunk so I sent him in for a recovery operation
