Translation in case others struggle with reading this reply:

I don't know if this is the point of the post, but I'm pretty sure the comic is generated.

My reasoning, in case anyone cares:

  • Painting isn't the same in first and last panel
  • Small imperfections in the ears in the second and third panel
  • Second and third frame look almost identical, but are not. It doesn't make much sense to redraw a scene when it's exactly the same... at least to me.

So like--- what is the point of this post? AI image bad? I agree, but is there another point?

EDIT: Sorry if it was obvious to everyone that the comic is fake... to me it was not, so I thought I share what I see.

Given the context, it wouldn't be surprising if the comic was at least partially AI generated.

I think their request is fair, we come to Lemmy for news rather than old information, though a reminder of how much we pollute without necessarily collecting extremely fresh data is also good.

Indeed they are Canadian, but there's unfortunately nothing consumers can buy from them at this moment.

Matrox wouldn't be in business if they were "shit". Consumers are not their target market.

Besides, it sounds to me like you're not here to have a conversation, you're just here to make inflammatory, subjective statements.

You're allowed to hold an opinion, but voicing opinions you're not willing to discuss nor support is rather counterproductive.

Are you arguing voting is useless, and by extension people shouldn't bother voting, because the lesser evil is still evil?

Of course both parties are corporate puppets, but one party tries to sustainably extract money away from people, while the other is attempting a scorched earth policy tactic to extract money from people.

He's been saying this for months at this point, and it was part of Project 2025, which he seems to be following like a computer runs code.

Trump was democratically elected, which means both those who voted and those who did not vote are to blame, which happens to be somewhere over 50% of Americans.

I'm ok with k8s, I'm just chicken shit because I've never had an opportunity to use them in prod.

How does Talos differ from something like Ubuntu with microk8s?

Is it production-ready?

I'm thinking of setting it up on an OVH bare metal dedicated server to run various sites and Docker processes, but I don't want to handle Kubernetes myself.
