It's a good starting point, never the final product.

Honestly I'd be happy with a phone sporting two USB C ports, one centered and one off to the side where the headphone jack used to be, both fully functional.

Oh yeah Copilot just spirals deeper into insanity the more you use it.

It'll sometimes spit your own code back at you and say "there, I fixed it", and it does the same when you point it out ad vitam aeternam. I believe this is a case of hardcore over fitting the original prompt.

Thanks, I had copy-pasted it from the website :)

(the link is not paid for, nor does it go to, McAfee, it's malware)

Can't wait to fully migrate to Proton.

Hello c/montreal!

It looks like someone's set up a Montreal news bot and connected it to this community since September 21 (5 days as of this post) without asking for my permission first.

I'm worried about it burying human-made posts and turning the community into an RSS feed rather than a hub for discussion, but I see that some people have interacted with the content nonetheless.

Should I:

  1. Leave the bot be.
  2. Contact the owners of the bot and request that they limit their posting to once every 1-2 days, and remove its existing posts that have very few votes.
  3. Ban the bot, and remove all its posts that were not interacted with in the comments.

Vote here!

Either way, I'll now be adding a rule about putting in place non-approved bots in the community.

Please let me know your opinion below! -- Max

Bonjour c/montreal!

Laissez-moi savoir votre opinion ci-dessous! -- Max

When sharing on Sync, it always shares a link to whatever instance the community is on, or sometimes even the instance your home instance federated the post from, meaning I can be looking at a post from lemmy.world, from my home instance of lemmy.ca, and the share link will be from yiffit.net.

Is there a way to always share a post as coming from your home instance?

Salut!

Merci?
