Took me a while to warm up to the action button but now I love it. Got it hooked up to a shortcut script and it's way more versatile than the old slider without losing any of the functionality.

I'll admit it doesn't feel that much faster than my 11. I didn't really feel like the processor on the old phone was holding me back but the cameras are a nice improvement.

I guess they keep trying those scams because they actually work occasionally!

Looks dope. I'll stick to my clear TPU cases though. Get to see the OG design of the phone with some actual drop protection. I'm team NoAppleCare so I don't run caseless.

My 11 was immaculate but with a screen protector. It's such cheap insurance and if you get tempered glass they feel the same so why risk it?

My dream is of a desktop mode where the iPhone runs fat binaries with desktop UI elements and mouse support when docked and touch elements when they're not. The A17 Pro is almost as fast as an M1 and has as much memory as an entry level Macbook Air. Unlike Samsung and their Dex software, Apple has a desktop operating system at the ready that's good.

What's the point of all that power? Instagram ain't it. Making the device more capable would give Apple something to sell performance increases with too. Right now there's nothing that needs an A17 Pro vs an A16 or A15,
