How about religion-backed traditional garlic treatment? Not joking. A lot of pseudoscience is backed by dogma.

The Kafala system sounds like a legal arrangement - which they are in these countries. But let's not hide its vileness. Always call it the 'Kafala slavery system' or the 'slavery laws'.

Many of the victims are from poorer regions of the world. They end up in slavery after being cheated by recruitment agencies, who take money from them by offering a well paying job abroad (unskilled, but better pay than in their own country). Most people don't even realize what they are paying for.

While the recruiters are truly villainous, the countries with the kafala system are no better. They know that the workers they get are victims of financial fraud and human trafficking. They still keep quiet and tolerate these criminals. They know that people won't choose slavery voluntarily.

Though you may be right, I have a feeling that he is facing formidable opposition. That may include anything from social engineering to full on psyops.

Frankly, I'm in favor of banning them from anything public.

Why is lobbying allowed in any public interest discourse?

That aside, lobbying doesn't mean anti-people by default. Some lobbyists lobby on behalf of the people.

Not a lobbyist. But I can explain their motivation in one word: Money

Can you imagine the amount of corruptive influences and persuasions he is resisting?

Please learn elementary anatomy and physiology. You don't have to get a medical degree. High school level knowledge will do.

This dangerous misinformation wouldn't get shared around, if people knew about mucous membranes.

See, they say the Earth's magnetic field is gradually getting weaker, and they're not entirely sure why. So of course they're doing lots of research into all sorts of theories as to why.

Weakening of the geomagnetic field is due the pole reversal that happens periodically over time. It's bad news, but not catastrophic.

Well have they considered that over the past century, humans have wrapped lots of the planet with degaussing coils? We call them power lines...

I seriously doubt that the whole of humanity's electric infrastructure is powerful enough to interfere with the colossal magnetohydrodynamic dynamo at the core of the planet.

Yeah, this is stupid. "We won't agree to an investigation until you give us the result of the investigation".

That's their SOP. This isn't the first time.
