I'm gonna try to install chimera linux on my fairphone. then I could use phosh as a window manager and use waydroid so I could have android apps! time to see how crazy that is.
Update: I did a bit of research, and chimera does support aarch64(the architecture of the fairphone 4) and it seems pretty doable, the postmarketos wiki says most features are supported, so we'll see!
yeah but it can be misleading, something can have a "low carbon footprint" and still produce a lot of methane or other gases...

I use calyxos so it should be fine. but this is so fucking annoying. we need to do something. now if you want android users to install your apps they have to pay to have them on the google play store... and I doubt anyone will stop them. next year will be the year of the linux(not android) mobile.
I already do sometimes sync to a usb stick. and, yes, syncing revisions is a good idea for me, in case something corrupts the backups.
I never tried syncthing, I think I'll try it now. Do you think it would work to copy my borg backup?
"ethical hacker's swiss army knife" I hate it when they always add "ethical". First of all, when you say ethical you mean law-fearing, they don't really care about ethics and, secondly, "regular" hackers use it too, so it's just a hacker's swiss army knife...
