'From the World of John Wick: Ballerina' was probably my favourite movie this year and there were only like 10 other people in the theater on release night, which is suprising for such a good action flick from a popular franchise.

I am thinking of that, MLK was assassinated by the FBI who have been cracking down on any leftist movement ever since. Going as far as dropping bombs on cities to prevent progress. How does a peaceful march stand up against that?
Can you provide examples? From what I gather, 1 cops are still killing people, 2 we're still speeding towards climate catastrophe, 3 Trump is still in power, 4 Poverty and wealth disparity is getting worse, 5 Women in many walks of life are still second class citizens.
Unless the lasting impact you mean is one step forwards three steps backwards.
I'm sure another peaceful protest will defeat this guy.
