It is hundred percent some new thing they added to pro models because if it could work on a16 they would have allowed the 15 base models as well

Happens every year with every flagship there are a few sets of problem that show up soon being solved by software updates
Probably an iPhone flip
Keep checking your screen time everyday to see if anything is runing in the background or if safari is taking more time than usual
