To be fair I hope anybody and everybody that has a leg to stand on in court does so and wastes their time and money there.

Nintendo consistently uses it's legal might in anyi-consumet ways to harm its biggest fans. As somebody that loves Nintendo games, fuck Nintendo.

But they already changed it from $0 to 0.2, how do you know it won't be 10 dollars next year after you've already spent 5 years making your game?

What if you only were charging a dollar for your game and people like it so much they install it 5 times over the year? Easy to do with multiple devices or reinstalling OS's

The problem is unity is forcing this on people who may have spent years and lots of money entering into a different kind of business agreement.

The topic was mas shootings, not gun deaths. Mass shootings are an extremely small percentage of all firearm deaths. And even that statistic doesn't matter, because MOST gun deaths aren't murders, they are suicides or accidents.

Source for mass shootings though since you asked

Nobody said anything about guns not existing. Only about gun laws. You can't regulate guns out of existence, you can make them with parts from a hardware store or a 3D printer. There are literally us government handbooks on how to improvise firearms. The genie is out of the bottle and we will never again be in a world without guns. The only question is if we make the idea of them taboo and illegal for civilians or not. But as history shows over and over, when citizens are disarmed bad things happen.

Look up gun laws in Austria, the Czech Republic, etc. Hell when I was in Budapest the military was literally set up in a park giving civilians dry fire training just in the middle of a fair in a park.

the company will add search functionality for terms only "once we are confident in the quality of the results."

So is meta now taking responsibility for all search results?

No. California has some of the strictest gun laws and leads the country in mass shootings. New York also has ridiculously strict gun laws and is up there on the mass shootings count as well.

(Though also let's be real the shootings are just correlated with large dense populations in the current US climate, not if the state is red/blue. So let's drop the gun law security theatre, there are a million factors that influence gun violence more than restricting the rights of everybody.)

It's easier to get guns in many EU countries than many US states.

No, it cannot. The comment literally said "most significant". That means 1, not 2.

Gaming "journalism" is shoddy, low quality, biased, and untrustworthy. Every bad game coming out of a big studio will get dozens of 10/10s. Not even talking about starfield, but just every botched release.

Using gamer news or review outlets as a source is useless.

The people that are saying good things about it seem to be people that don't play that many non-betheada RPGs so don't have anything to compare it to, or are just excited for a space theme. People that are playing high quality RPGs like persona 5 or baldurs gate are not happy with starfield

This was going to happen whether Starfield was a masterpiece or complete garbage.

But as expected it wasn't either just a subpar game that a large number of people think it's a 10/10 GOTY contender

It's the same game as the last several Bethesda games, no need to play it to criticize it.

But even watching a few streams and videos is really enough to see even the harsh criticisms are putting it mildly.
