I bet if the male escort wasn't a male escort but a caring neighbour the family would still come for money, doesn't read like the nature of their relationship is a problem. They should be grateful for the escort that their aunt had company, considering how awful loneliness is.

That is definitely different. Kunde comes from the verb to can so it is more like ability I guess.

'familiarity with, knowledge of matters' (now mainly used as the right-hand part of compounds indicating a field of study or scientific discipline)''' and 'proficiency in a subject, science or in general'

In dutch you have beside natuurkunde (physics) and scheikunde (chemistry) also for example bestuurskunde (government) and bedrijskunde (business) so it in a lot of scientific disciplines, but putely the -kunde part better translates to knowledge of a skill (wij kunnen = we can), than science in general. I don't know Latin or ancient Greek but I guess it's the germanic counterpart of -logy in psychology and technology. In that case it could be like knowlogy, which sounds cool, but I am no expert.

The Pentagon has given U.S. Northern Command responsibility for U.S. military operations in and near Greenland after President Donald Trump expressed interest in acquiring the Danish territory.

Defending Greenland was previously the responsibility of U.S. European Command. But Greenland, an icy island in the High North between North America and Europe, will now fall under NORTHCOM.

I agree both are a public safety issue, but there aren't many similarities beyond that. For one, most people guilty killing or seriously injuring someone with a gun intends to so cause that result while people who are guilty of killing or seriously injuring someone with a car are unaware of the danger they pose or aren't able to estimate how to react in a certain situation. Yes both need to be taken very serious, yes both are a big problem but their solution is very different. Although one more similarity which blows my mind is how unwilling American politicians are to keep more people alive.

In August 2021, noyb had filed several complaints against news sites using unlawful ‘Pay or OK’ systems with German data protection authorities (DPAs). Despite the fact that only about 3 to 10% of people want tracking for personalised advertising, these systems lead to consent rates of more than 99%. Almost four years after the filing of the complaints, the DPAs of North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse still haven’t managed to issue a decision on the merits. Quite the opposite: In order to avoid finally deciding the case, the DPA of North-Rhine Westphalia has even issued a 12-page decision that it cannot decide yet. Today, noyb took both authorities to court for their year-long inactivity.
