How would you summerize it then?
You're right, but in the age group 18-29 the majority isn't a PC gamer. You have also a lot of creative professionals who have a computer. But a lot (might by now be >50%) don't have a laptop. Also in college more and more people only use a tablet. I feel also a growing number of not young people are switching to a tablet or have a laptop laying around somewhere for that one time you need it.
Their market isn't selling their own hardware, but their software income comes from selling it with hardware.
Just over one billion active devices use Windows for their operating system, according to Microsoft. That sounds like an impressive statistic, but the company isn't as quick to point out that three years ago, the figure stood at 1.4 billion, meaning 400 million devices are no longer running the OS.
Imagihe you buy an android phone and a Windows PC tomorrow and use your new android everyday but don't take that pc out of the box, Microsoft still made money and therefor took a share of the market. At the same time, that machine is not going to show up in seo data.
You have a valid point, i'm not saying youre wrong but youre comparing apples (devices used) with oranges (devices sold). But you are right that there is a huge increase in mobile devices used and that surely correlates to the % of divices are running windows. I'm not disagreeing with that.
“To show people how spoiled Countries have become with respect to the United States of America, and I have great respect for Japan, they won’t take our RICE, and yet they have a massive rice shortage,” Trump wrote, casually insulting the nation with which America has one of its largest trading relationships. “In other words, we’ll just be sending them a letter, and we love having them as a Trading Partner for many years to come.”
RICE FROM AMERICA. USA! USA! BeSt RiCe iN tHe wOrLd!!!
Me neither and i have 0 fomo.
It's a skewed number though, since most people will have a lot of mobile screen time where most gamers and professionals have a more even divide between desktop and mobile - yet most people still own both. You're point still holds, but hardware companies earn money from the amount of devices sold and not with how many hours is being spent using them.
I'd be so cool if the movement pushing people to switch their win10 to Linux would be like 'btw, if you're looking for a win11 machine this is how you can get it with a discount'
Tldr; China is looking for new friends after US ditched them, eu not interested.
My subconscious read all the words before my conscious brain did, first thought when I scrolled past this image: wtf, seals were not invented. But then it remembered seals has multiple meanings.
St. John’s Day, celebrated on June 24th, is a significant feast day within the Roman Catholic Church, marking the birth of St. John the Baptist.
Never heard of this, probably because I'm not raised Christian.
The celebration of St. John’s Day predates Christianity and has roots in ancient pagan rituals that honored fertility and the summer solstice although it does not coincide exactly with the astronomical event occurring around June 20-21.
Or maybe it's something else.
