There was a big push at first, subsidising adopting green tech at both large and small scale (it was financially interesting to build big wind farms, buy a new ev and put solar panels on your roof) and the government slowly decreased those benefits over time. Since last year the biggest party is a far-right populist party who promised they will make life more affordable by cutting spending on 'leftist hobbies'.

I can imagine him and his friends use their wealth to research what voters want to hear and then them saying those things out load. Could easily be interesting for voters as long as they can continue saying didn't break a promise.
I'm really happy about this, always thought 1 flavour of fascism wasn't enough for me /s
When I was a teenager you weren't allowed to have a phone in class, some schools you couldn't have one all day but that was a rule imposed by the individual school. I'm not sure it is a law but it is the government that decided they are be banned on all schools, so it's nationwide policy now.
To pile on a bit more, I see he made this work during trumps first presidency (Dec 2018). Crazy how these memes and cartoons only get more relevant over time.
Finally some good people even among the bankers?
Their policies are based on science, not morals though. I'm totally fine with that, but you can only know if they're good people if you know what their intentions are.
the European Central Bank is determined to keep climate change as part of its planning agenda.
Yesterday someone posted a link to an article by france24 titled The church by the airport: Inside Russia’s suspected spy activities in Sweden on how Russia is suspected to use the Moscow Patriarchate church as a platform for espionage. Recently I commented on a few posts about Kremlin-related activities in Europe. Below is a copy of what I commented the last time:
Yesterday someone posted a link to an article on news.err.ee titled Arson attack on Ukrainian restaurant in Estonia ordered by Russian intelligence, I decided it would make sense to copy my comment on that article here.
5 days ago someone posted link to an article by united24media titled Russian Saboteurs Reportedly Torch German Military Trucks in Erfurt in Brazen Attack on NATO Soil. I thought it'd be nice to copy my comment on that post.
Yesterday someone posted a link to an article in The Sun, it's headline was Britain’s migrant crisis being fuelled by Putin’s Russia and other hostile states in secret plot to destabilise UK; I feel I might just as well copy and paste my comment to that post:
The amount of shit Russia pulls without getting any kind repercussion truly astonishes me.
The ban has been in place since January 1, 2024
Implementing a 48% increase in public pay gradually would bring wages in Northern Ireland in line with the Republic of Ireland's.
Didn't expect the difference to be this big, didn't the unionist say that being part of UK would mean more money instead of less.
Do you know where they had to unlock their 'front door'? This is such a weird concept for me.
Just wondering, if I would hold up a sign with 'go isreal, continue the amazing work you do!', would that get me arrested? Surely i'd get beat up but i mean what would the lawmakers think of that? Would it be different if the sign would say 'go isreal, murder those innocent families' or 'go isreal, your genocide rules!' (am i allowed to call it a genocide if i'm not against it?)
