Quick tip, make sure when you search its set to All and not Communities, i found out that makes it show up for some reason, if you only search for Communities, it doesn't pop up i think that should get fixed. Also any spaces before the ! will make it not show up either
Sometimes it takes longer for stuff to federate im also having issues atm with a certain community not showing up, but usually it links up within a few seconds
Yeah i was mostly getting my progmetal bands from what was popular on reddit, ill check out that EveryNoiseAtOnce band later
Oh thats good to know, though the way i did is what pops up whenever you do the normal syntax on the website, guess ill have to manually do it from now on
Edit: tried it out and decided to revert back to the normal way, on the mobile app it just opens a broken link which would be more confusing imo
No. im checking them out right now, they sound alright, but im generally more into metal than rock. Still.. pretty solid sound, and i dont mind people posting more prog rock stuff here too, anything prog i think would be welcome around here.

The Japanese House is putting out a new album soon, their stuff is pretty decent. Cant really link a favourite song as i literally just started listening to them.

I'm a bit annoyed at the way people treat Lemmy on Reddit, most of the threads i've seen kinda dismiss it as being too confusing, and instead promoting other centralized websites which will eventually just become reddit 2.0
Sure it takes a bit to understand the fediverse but its fairly simple once you get the hang of it

The permission popups on gnome a recent thing?, i know you get popups on both kde and gnome for screensharing. But i haven't heard about this and the last time i used gnome was about 3 months ago
