Both his past and present takes are perfectly reasonable. If you don't know enough about something, then you don't know. Simple as that. Much better than being confidently incorrect (or even confidently correct) about it when you don't actually know the topic.

Selling everything = I have no faith

Keeping everything when these shares represent almost your entire net worth = I know with 100% certainty that this business will grow

Selling off 25% = I believe in the company, but I also acknowledge that there are many variables outside of my control that can affect the success of this company and I don't want those to have huge negative repercussions on my life.

Instructions unclear. Stash is 35 tall and I'm scared to look at what's been fermenting at the bottom.

Very relatable. Especially when it's less effort to make the change than it is to try and ignore it. But it's understandably harder for those who are reviewing your work.

I don't think they're disputing that. They're just giving numbers to answer your question. There's very few speakers of these languages, so it's probably not going to be an easy task.

That confused me for the longest time because colloquially, "to have cake" means to consume cake, so why can't I eat my cake and also eat my cake?

So for those who continue to be confused by this, "have your cake" means having the cake sitting in front of you untouched. Maybe you want to admire it because it's pretty or save it for later. Whatever NT people usually do with cake.

It took me several reads to figure it out, but I think I know what Dasus is trying to say now

Because alcoholics are often violent.

Weeders rarely are.

Violent alcoholics means that they'll fight to maintain access to their poison of choice, whereas the lethargy that comes with marijuana will have the opposite effect.

I think you're overstating the dangers of homebrewing with an improvised setup. If you screw up, you get mold and it's very obvious.

I've never distilled before, but from what I've read, that's really hard to screw up too.

We supposedly taste like veal according to Google. I don't know how they determined this though.

Yeah, your take makes perfect sense to me. I'm just letting you know why your original message gets interpreted negatively even by people who would otherwise agree with your message.

Take a minute to think about it. What's the intention behind quoting this specific passage instead of another? Is it a continuation of your first statement and you're providing this as the reason you support anti-speciesism (i.e. that you're not racist/sexist)? Or are you trying to tell others that they're racist/sexist for being specieist? Or are they completely disjoint and you just wanted to share a fun fact? Or maybe you intended something completely different? But I can't think of how else to interpret it, so if that's the case, you'd have to elaborate.

Perceived ad-hominem from your quote which implies that you are racist and sexist if you eat meat.

That's an interesting combination. Is there some similarity between landmines and tuberculosis that make them easier to detect?
