Actually a really funny anime imo. Very inappropriate and weird, but sometimes they strike some real satire.

Yeah unlike other big companies, Valve still has some trust to rely on. Let's wait for what they're saying and doing first.

Also, the quickest path to success will always be to reignin the payment processors. Which should be a no-brainer anyway; they should have no influence on content decisions.

Insidious propaganda.

Honestly I'm really happy with how itch.io is handling it. Making sure they still get their money, but quickly reintroducing the games, and telling us the exact reason why they had to disable those games in the first place. Great management.

Alexa, fasse das ganze in 10 wörtern oder weniger zusammen.

Me looking at the strange test chambers wondering what the scientists are researching in those experiments

He looks so proud as well in the picture. Iconic.

No, but people don't have as much patience with me as with other stereotypes, and they do not care about me a lot of the time.

Which can be complicated because some mental predispositions make socializing hard for me, and I could really do with some more patience from other people.

I enjoyed 3 and 4. After that it was just a very drawn out crescendo.

It is quite clear to me. Here is an EU initiative which is looking for input from EU citizens on digital fairness and a lot of people have already mentioned this. If you are an EU citizen I highly recommend you do the same.

Now for Canada or the US, I assume it would be piggybacking onto a similar campaign that aims to introduce legislation through lobbying with representatives. However I do not feel qualified to speak on the process given the complexity and the amount of different jurisdictions possibly at play.

All of geopolitics is hard to love arguably. But here we are, condoning it, because it's happening, whether we like it or not, and it would be nice to have a say in it.

Angus & Julia Stone - Losing You

This is a genuine question.

I have a hard time with this. My righteous side wants him to face an appropriate sentence, but my pessimistic side thinks this might have set a great example for CEOs to always maintain a level of humanity or face unforseen consequences.

P.S. this topic is highly controversial and I want actual opinions so let's be civil.

And if you're a mod, delete this if the post is inappropriate or if it gets too heated.

It's very late but I'm hungry and can't decide if I should eat something. I wanna make tortellini but I also feel like sleeping sounds more healthy.

I have an appointment tomorrow and I talked with friends until after midnight. Maybe I should just go to bed.

I just had an ad appear while scrolling through the comment section of a post.

No big deal in itself, but: the ad started to play at volume even though I put my media viewer in auto mute. It's night and I don't wanna wake people up with videos I never even wanted to see and even tho I didn't click anything wrong.

Is this how it should be? Is there an option to disable audio on ads? I have auto mute on enabled for my media viewer; why does this not automatically apply to ads as well?

I get that this app has ads to survive but there's always a nice and a really annoying way to do it and this is definitely on the annoying side for me rn.

I switched to Windows 11 about a year ago. A few months ago my PC started randomly crashing and rebooting, without any blue screens.

Am I the only one? Does someone know anything about this?

Pretty sure I can rule out power surges or overheating or stuff like that. There's been no indication. The system log is empty as well, apart from Windows being annoyed that it just got restarted without any notice.

For me in the top of the image, there should be download button and stuff.

The top is white and the symbols are white. There's no gradient. I literally can't see it.

I know this is dumb but I think it's also an easy fix as the bottom already has a gradient.
