EDIT: Also that's a curious reaction to getting called out. All you had to say was "I'm not a tankie, I'm sorry for using their rhetoric" and this whole thing would've been cleared up.

I've had the same experience. Hexbear won't accept any nuance when it comes to Palestine or homeless people.

take them out to a nice dinner and talk about what local orgs you both would want to get involved with. People learn a lot more from real life political action than being given a list of links.

I haven't felt the need to block any instance besides the NSFW ones on my main account so I can scroll in public without porn popping up, but then again I'm less thin-skinned than most
