And yet, the accusations he launched at Ake? They landed! The Federation has been, and still is culturally imperialistic, and we have seen that aspect in action through Nahla. Braka is being very hammy with the "hate is good" thing, but he's right at pointing that Starfleet is an institution that very usually takes misfit and vulnerable kids and makes ideologically pure scientist-soldiers out of them, like a futuristic version of the Ottoman janissaries.

The more I think about that scene, the more I feel that she was trying to get caught in a situation that gave her no alternative to tell the truth. She feels like a character that's hiding too much for her own good.
Hi Karim, and thanks for the AMA!
As your character is a healer and a now a medical student, how much preparation you have had to do about health, medicine and the experiences of medical school to give depth to the role, aside from the series own technical lore?
Great question! About the same, I would love to know about the care you have to do to deal with the extra strain in your voice, and what advice you have received about it.

I really didn't expected the emotional moments, but they were all done so well
True, but as someone on Tumblr observed, they could have avoided that just by placing Pelia's "bunker" on Nova Scotia or somewhere else in Canada.
adding to this question, of all the different versions of Klingons we have seen so far, in which other costuming and prosthetics would you like to perform?
