It's insulting. Regardless of your feelings on Kirk, this was hardly an attack on the whole of America. It was yet another school shooting. We have quite a few of those.

He (Kirk) is just not that important of an individual to merit this kind of national response. It’s not on the level of the September 11 attacks. It’s simply not. And, I would argue it further divides Americans than unites us.
Most things that are alive fall into the last category. I wonder if that’s for a reason.

Yes! Increasing the amount of money existing (by creating government bonds out of thin air and selling them) lowers the value of existing dollars, and the debt load accelerates future inflation by demanding interest payments.
The US is going to print as much money as required and inflate away any debts at this point.
