~~Headline's possibly a bit misleading. He shared an article from The Washington Times, which featured a pink triangle in its banner image.~~

~~He is a fascist, a bigot, a buffoon, and one of the worst people alive today, don't get me wrong; but unless I'm missing something, this isn't an example of his Nazism.~~

EDIT: Right, everyone seems a lot more concerned about this than I was, so I suppose it's more serious.

I guess I forgot that the tangerine tyrant has the attention span and literacy skills of a brick, and thus would not have read the article and posted it based entirely on the banner image.

I'm sorry if I possibly came across as an apologist. I feel I must make it clear that I would gladly cave his skull in any day of the week, given the opportunity.

I can't find the words to explain my intentions, but they certainly were not to make excuses for that wanker.

If you can afford it, then go for it!

There's also Luanti, if you want a private, free, and open-source Minecraft clone.

Bringing a whole new meaning to a sting operation.

Pure chromium is alright, but you really shouldn't lick any compound containing chromium(VI): they're highly carcinogenic.

Same box as Links, I think; or maybe the same box as Servo or Ladybird would fit better...

[–] hellfire103@lemmy.ca 4 points 5 months ago (3 children)

Neither is Servo.

Chaotic good because it's an entire (almost functional) engine built from scratch, and without any corporate backing.

Blink has the dominant market share, though, and by a long way. It's almost a monoculture.

[–] hellfire103@lemmy.ca 6 points 5 months ago

That's a relief.

It's effectively Chromium.

WebKit is neutral. Remember the sheer amount if browsers using WebKitGTK, and even more that used to use QtWebKit.

(The engine itself is fine though)

A ban on politicians lying will be brought in before the 2026 Senedd [the Welsh parliament] elections, the Welsh government has promised.

Counsel General Mick Antoniw [...] promised that the law would disqualify Senedd politicians and candidates found guilty of deliberate deception from being a Member of the Senedd (MS). [...] It is not yet clear whether the proposed law would make lying a criminal offence or a civil sanction. [...] Mr. Antoniw said it was a "matter that goes to the heart of everyone".
