Yeah, but the system requirements for Windows 11 are a good way above those for 10. Many people would need new machines; whereas Linux still runs decently on hardware from 2003.

yt-dlp supports passing on cookies from your browser, oncw you've logged in at least once.

There's also GrayJay on Android.

Samsung is the leading brand of Android phone, and Samsung Internet is the default.
