Now watch and be amazed as I transform a bag of disposable razors into a rudimentary pair of shears! /j

Y'all've seriously never tried grilling your bacon in the oven? The fat just melts off and leaves your bacon perfect. If you like it crispy, just leave it in for a bit longer.

Yeah? Why wouldn't I be?

Usually just default, but I believe my ThinkPad has zen and hardened as options.

zen has slightly worse battery life, but slightly better performance.

hardened is more secure, but some software (notably Flatpak) cannot run without first running sudo sysctl kernel.unprivileged_userns_clone=1.

Also, my old ThinkPad uses GENERIC (OpenBSD).

I used to use μLauncher and KISS Launcher. The former is available on Accrescent, while the latter looks nice.

I'll believe it when he's a worm-eaten corpse under six feet of earth.

You're as sane as I was in 2019. Looks like 196 has more gearheads than Americans.

ICE is short for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement here, not internal combustion engine.

EDITED: Change link to proper article instead of a stupid video, and changed associated text to match new URL.

Disgusting, in my opinion.

I am trying to get the full version of an article in AdAge, which is paywalled. Unfortunately, 13ft ladder gets blocked by AdAge's DDoS protection, Internet Archive doesn't return the full article, and my university can't help (despite having access to the publication).

However, people with subscriptions to AdAge can "donate" articles to non-paying individuals. Seeing as how I only need the one article, I am asking around online if anyone can help.

Is there a community on Lemmy where it would be appropriate to ask?
