Just recently finished this piece. Background is graphite watercolor and the main drawing is done with ink.
Some closeups:
I donβt generally use a straightedge when drawing β I usually just freehand everything. If you look closely youβll see a bit of wobble on the lines.
Iβll use one every now and then for some things, mainly just for borders and some guide lines.
A drawing I just finished up in the current sketchbook. I think it turned out nicely

No, I think this one is done.
Thatβs actually one of the harder things for me β knowing when itβs done. I rarely ever have a plan and just improvise, so itβs tough to tell when to stop. Iβve definitely overworked a bunch of these π
