He did not support abolition until well into the civil war look it up.

He removed missouri's general or whatever keeping them from joining confeds for endorsing the idea in fact.

Regardless that same party abandoned the former slaves to steal an election after rampant corruption.

So any example of the civil war era is also disallowed by your logic. It was not perfect so therefore your example can be discredited.

Lincoln did not even want emancipation at first, and grant was corrupt and let his admin loot the government, then abandoned reconstruction to jim crow in a deal to get to keep the 1876 election they stole from tillman for hayes.

That republican party? Hardly.

Not all. The cynics will. The true believers, and the cynics playing to those true believers may not. Look at mtgreen, or t carlsen, to joe rogan. The sheep of the party and some of their polits actually believe, and they may buck the party like mtg.

A casino where the high rollers get bailed out in big losses by both parties now, just a few more trillions on the credit card and zero interest loans via the fed every time a big crash happens.

How much pretend wealth exists as measured by recent trades of stock.

It is divorced from reality and fundamentals and the intrinsic value is a fraction of market caps.

The indexes measure investor confidence in future stock price movements.

The dow that can be measured is not the eternal dow.

Typical partisans ignoring that by being the status quo r's run as reform and win.

This is establishment propaganda to justify them staying in control despite 3 shit show elections in a row.

Biden was the wrong leader, and until you admit that we are doomed to r rule.

Except it is too late now.

Yet you do not indulge my question, give me one example that cannot be dismissed with your logic dismissing the new deal?

[–] hector@lemmy.today 1 points 6 hours ago

It should, but will not. What it will do is increase profits marginally milking fed dollars for test projects that go over budget and over timeframe without working, and without them actually trying.

Since Bush at least they have been funding this stuff. Technohopium to justify biz as usual.

Paypal and venmo already forced forking over ss no. or ein for accounts for this purpose last year. Or they did mine, maybe it was just paypal though?

They are owned by the same company, anti trust laws are dead and the courts will prevent a resurrection but that is another subject.
