That is one strong unit, the thought of the weight of those devices gives me back pain.

It's not popular it's just another overused bubble fad that will make a select few some money for a while and cost all of us time and energy to avoid or work around for a looooong time.

Do they need to be separate logins if they are to access the same files and connected device(s)?

Just a Machine01 account with access to a shared drive or OneDrive for backup would do it wouldn't it?

If the machine is only used locally then limit it's access to the internet so people have to actually login to access/download anything and treat it as part of the equipment it's attached to.

Closest thing I can think of to that would be Destiny 2.

Normal Strikes and patrols in the open world you can shake off most incoming damage easily and leap about all over the place if you so desire.

Something looser like Borderlands 2 but cranked up and with crazier guns sounds fun though. There was a MOD for UT2K4 called Fraghouse or something like that that scratched that sort of itch for me way back. Install monster packs and run around like a lunatic killing waves of ridiculous creatures with redonkulous guns .

They forced something nobody asked for or had a use for beyond the quick what does it do? Then wandered why no one used it? Shocked Pikachu face.

The meta one in WhatsApp, utterly pointless. Copilot non-use to me at all. Gemini has less features than the old Google assistant and is worse in every way at doing the things it does do.

It would be great itlf they'd stop reshaping a working OS around fads.

Tablets went nowhere and left a big scar on Windows and now AI is gonna do the same.

They missed the boat on the one thing that could have made them money, gaming. If they'd put half the effort of this copilot crap into integrating something to compete with steam around that time then things would be very different.

This AI bubble needs to pop. It's had it's fun, it has some niches but for day to day usage at work and home it's of no use to the vast majority of people.

It's the same with energy pricing, 15 different rates for the same gas and electricity just from one supplier. Half of them you aren't eligible for for some reason but they won't tell you outright you have to dig through the terms.

Then comparison sites appear to help, some suppliers aren't on them "to keep pricing simple", aaarrgghh.

It just means in most cases you end up paying too much for something and they make more money out of you.

Hi, have fun. Don't forget to use a coaster on the good table and don't feed the trolls if you find any.
